We just came across the unboxing video of the vanilla variant of the upcoming Google Pixel 8 series that provided a good look at the device along with the inbox elements. Now the big brother of the device appears online in a short unboxing video.
We can see the retail box of the upcoming Google Pixel 8 smartphone on a YouTube Shorts video and when it unboxed we can see the device in black colour option and the back panel of the device features the signature visor-like rear camera module with triple rear camera setup along with a temperature sensor on the board.
The package will include the smartphone of along with the charging cable and a Quick Switch adapter as well. That means you need to purchase the charging adaptor separately or you need to use your current charging adaptor.
Both the upcoming devices were recently reported to come with the power of the latest Google Tensor G3 mobile processor along with Titan M2 security chip. The vanilla variant will feature a 6.2-inch Full HD+ OLED along with a 60-120Hz refresh rate and 2000 nits of maximum brightness. The device will come with the Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection. It will come with 8GB LPDDR5X RAM and 128/256GB UFS 3.1 storage support. The report also says that the company will be offering the device with a 4,575 mAh battery along with up to 27W fast charging and Qi-certified wireless charging up to 18W.
It is reported that the upcoming Google Pixel 8 will come with a dual camera set up on the back that includes a 50MP octa PD wide lens coupled with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and Electronic Image Stabilisation (EIS), followed by a 12MP ultrawide sensor as well.
On the other hand, the Pro model is reported to feature a 6.7-inch LTPO OLED display along with a 1-120Hz adaptive refresh rate, and the device will come with up to 2000 nits maximum brightness as well as Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection.
It is said to come with a 50MP Octa PD wide camera along with a 48MP primary lens with 5x Optical Zoom, and a 30x Super Rez Zoom. Both the wide and ultrawide sensors will be supporting OIS and EIS. It is also said that the company will launch the device with up to 8GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB UFS 3.1 storage for the US, and up to 512GB UFS 3.1 storage for the Rest of the World.
Both smartphones will be coming with a 10.5MP front facing camera. Regarding the connectivity options, the upcoming devices will be supporting WiFi 7, Bluetooth v5.3, and NFC.
For those who are not aware, the search engine giant Google will be launching the flagship smartphone series on October 4 and the devices will be available for pre-booking on the same day in India as well. The devices will be available via Flipkart in the country.
