Key Points:
- The device will come with the power of the Google Tensor G3 processor.
- It is listed with 12 GB of RAM on the board.
- Google will be launching its upcoming flagship smartphone series with Android 14.
We are just a couple of hours away from the official announcement of the highly anticipated Google Pixel 8 series and we already have a decent idea about the upcoming devices through the leaks and rumours. Today the Google Pixel 8 Pro smartphone appears on the popular benchmarking website Geekbench 6 but it is not offering impressive scores. Let’s get into the article to check out the full details.
According to the benchmarking website, the upcoming Google flagship smartphone will come with the power of the Google Tensor G3 processor which is not a piece of surprising information as we already know about the same.
However, the scores of the device are pretty disappointing. The upcoming Google Pixel 8 Pro smartphone was tested on Geekbench 6.2, and the device managed a single-core score of 1,760, and a multi-core score of 4,442. When you take the competition into account, the OnePlus 11 with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 gets 1707 points in single-core and 4892 points in the multi-core test of Geekbench 6. So the scores of the upcoming Google phone are not that bad and it has improved compared to the Tensor G2, but the chipset is not capable of giving a head to head competition again or Apple chipsets.
The benchmarking website also reveals that the device will come with 12 GB of RAM on the board and the device will be running on the Android 14 operating system out of the box.
Based on the previous reports, the upcoming Google Pixel 8 Pro smartphone will feature a 6.7-inch LTPO OLED display along with QHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It is believed to come with up to 512 GB of storage and the device will feature a triple camera setup on the back with a 50MP primary sensor, a 64MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 48MP telephoto shooter.
Google will be launching the device in India and you guys can able to pre order the smartphone series through Flipkart in the country. So let’s wait for the launching of the Google flagship smartphone series and we recommend you to stay tuned with us for more of these from the world of technology.
