After lots of leaks as well as rumours and teasers, the popular Chinese smartphone brand Oppo has officially introduced its new folding phone dubbed the Oppo Find N3. It is a horizontally folding smartphone. This is the same phone that will be official later today in the name of OnePlus Open. The device comes with a circular camera module on the back panel and it also features a punch-hole cutout on the top of the screen for the selfie camera. The back panel also comes in two variants, which include a matte glass finish and vegan leather.
Oppo Find N3 features a 7.82-inch AMOLED primary display with 2440×2268 pixels resolution along with a dynamic 1-120Hz refresh rate, and the device also comes with 2,800 nits of peak brightness. It also features a cover display that offers a 6.31-inch AMOLED panel with 2484 x 1116 pixels resolution along with a 10-120Hz dynamic refresh rate, and a similar peak brightness. Both displays also support Dolby Vision, 2,800 nits of peak brightness, and LTPO 3.0 technology.
Under the hood, the newly announced Oppo Find N3 comes with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 mobile processor along with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. It is housing a 4,805mAh battery along with 67W SuperVOOC fast charging technology. The device runs on Android 13 with ColorOS 13.2 out of the box.
The device is capable to offer up to three windows on the screen which means you can view content in both horizontally as well as vertically. It is also confirmed that there are multiple applications that already support split-screen view on the device and the list includes Microsoft 365, which will enable you to edit multiple documents side by side.
Speaking about the camera department, the latest Oppo Find N3 features Hasselblad branded camera module on the back that includes a 48-megapixel Sony LYTIA-T808 pixel stacked primary sensor that has a 1/1.43-inch size along with a 49-megapixel ultra wide angle lens that has a 1/2-inch size, 14mm f/2.2 aperture, and supports autofocus and the device also comes with a 64-megapixel 1/2-inch sensor that features 3x optical zoom, a 70mm focal length, and a f/2.6 aperture with stabilization as well. The device also comes with a hybrid zoom capability of up to 6x or 145mm. It also features front facing camera on both the primary and cover display features a camera. The external screen features a 32-megapixel sensor, while the main display has a 20-megapixel sensor. The device features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner as well.
