Nothing CEO, Carl Pei has a tradition of reviewing flagship devices with his own Nothing phones. This time he reviews the latest iPhone 15 Pro with an Apple employee. Let’s get into the article to check out the interesting review video.
The Apple Store employee was virtually presented at the office for the review and they started with a blind camera test with each of them guessing which phone is it. In daylight images, the iPhone 15 Pro and Nothing Phone 2 provides the same quality of images but the latter disappoints with exposure in one of the camera samples. Then the top most executive of Nothing says how it’s easy for any smartphone to do well in good daylight but in the situations including lowlight and fast-moving objects, that the iPhone 15 Pro really performs.
Coming to the changes as well as upgrades, the guys discussed the USB-C port, and how Apple is offering to user demand but Pei says Apple might not do the job if government was not forcing them. The Apple store employee adds how it’s ironic for an environmentally-conscious brand to make people buy extra cables. Nothing executive phase that the company took inspiration from Apple to reduce the materials used for its products and the company added more recycled materials.
We know that Apple has made the iPhone 15 Pro with a titanium body and not stainless steel and the overall look of the latest iPhone 15 Pro is the same though for the iPhone 15 series. Now the action button comes into the discussion which is another highlighting element of the iPhone 15 Pro series. Pei said that Apple wanted to reduce the number of buttons but Apple might be confused and added a button without any balance. Nothing executive has also shared his disappointment about the UI which now “looks crazy” and “like a zoomed in version of the phone.”
Now the question comes to whether one should upgrade to the latest iPhone 15 Pro series, the Apple guy says that he uses a 12 Pro Max now, and he is not sure about the big changes are meaningful to him.
