The report reveals that the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 mobile processor will feature a 1+5+2 core configuration, with one prime core, five performance cores, and two efficiency cores. The prime core of the mobile processor will be clocked at up to 3.3 GHz, while the performance and efficiency cores will be clocked at up to 3.2 GHz and 2.3 GHz, respectively. The company will also offer a new Adreno 750 GPU for the graphical task.
The report also says that the company will offer the chipset with an upgraded Hexagon neural processor (NPU) and the same is reported to come with 98% faster and 40% more efficient than the current version. This particular setup will provide AI features including expanding photos, removing objects from videos, and generating AI backgrounds.
