HMD Global is ready to announce the flagship Nokia 8 and Entry level smartphone Nokia 2.The event is planned to launch the smartphone Nokia 8, it is not clear whether the company will launch the entry level smartphone Nokia 2. But many believe that Nokia 2 might be unveiled during the event at London.
The Nokia 2 spec has already been leaked by the geekbench benchmarking database as it is possible to have a 4.5-inch HD display powered by Quad-core Snapdragon 212 SoC coupled with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage.The smartphone is said to hold an 8-megapixel rear shooter and a 5-megapixel front shooter. It might come up with Android 7.1.1 and expected to receive 2 years of continuous OS update support from HMD Global.
The Nokia 2 will also miss the fingerprint scanner similar to the Nokia 3.Instead of physical home button Nokia 2 is said to have capacitive on screen navigation buttons.based on the leaked spec a digital artist has created a video of Nokia 2. In my opinion, Nokia is making a big mistake of launching Entry level smartphone with very least spec sheet compared to other market leaders. It would be so difficult for HMD Global to deliver its base smartphone with well modernized high tech users society.
