OnePlus officially unveiled the OnePlus 13 flagship smartphone in China and now the company has confirmed to launch the device globally. The company has created a dedicated page on the official website without any additional details. The company will be launching the device in January 2025. The newly announced OnePlus 13 comes with a brilliant display and the device features the second-generation 2K Oriental screen. It comes with a 6.82-inch BOE X2 display along with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 4500 nits. The device also features “Crystal Shield Super Ceramic Glass” for durability. The display of the device is certified by DisplayMate with an A++ rating and you can touch the display using glove or even with wet hands.
It has the power of the latest and greatest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite mobile processor along with the self-developed Tidal Engine to improve gaming experience. The device comes with up to 24 GB of RAM on the board and 1TB of internal storage. The device also features the second-generation Tiangong Cooling System Pro and the same has a massive 9925mm² VC cooling solution. The device houses a massive 6000mAh glacier battery along with 100W wired fast charging and 50W wireless fast charging. It also comes with glass variant and leather variant. Both options feature IP68/69 protection.
Speaking about the camera department, the latest OnePlus 13 features a 50MP Sony LYT-808 flagship main sensor (1/1.4″ sensor size) with OIS along with 50MP LYT-600 (1/1.95″ sensor size) periscope telephoto, and a 50MP ultra-wide angle(120° wide field of view) with Samsung S5KJN5 sensor. The device also comes with a collaboration with Hasselblad for superior photography. The company also offers an AI feature dubbed “AI De-glare” technology that reduces glass reflections in glass in a photo. The device also comes with a 32MP f/2.4 with Sony IMX615 sensor. It also features “Shadowless Snap” which is meant to capture fast-moving subjects.
The device supports Super Signal Engineering 2.0 along with supports multi-function infrared remote control, full-area NFC, USB 3.2 Gen1, and an AI noise reduction feature with four microphones. The device also comes with an in-display fingerprint scanner and Dolby Atmos Stereo speakers.
