The latest Samsung TVKey Cloud Technology is co-developed by Samsung and NAGRAVISION and the new feature eliminates the requirement of an external set-top box. The new feature needs internet connectivity over Wi-Fi and a direct connection to your cable TV or DTH antenna wire. The televisions of Samsung has the built-in processor to authenticate the signals received over Cable/DTH and this will enable you to stream your favourite TV channels using the Samsung Smart TV remote.
It is worth mentioning that you need to keep an active TV pack from your cable/DTH operator. The new capability is currently available with GTPL Hathway cable and Dish TV DTH operators.
The new capability is compatible with existing Samsung TV models including 2023 and 2024 connected variants such as the Ultra HD, OLED, QLED, and Neo QLED Series. The new setup also retains the capability of streaming OTT apps that will enable you to seamlessly switch between Live TV channels and OTT content using the same remote.
