To make the WhatsApp status feature more attractive the developers of most favourite instant messaging application of the planet, are working on colourful text status feature, the same feature which we have seen on Facebook in last year.
The new feature is under testing mode, and if you are the beta tester of WhatsApp then you might be able to see the new colourful text feature. The feature is to be a server-side update, and because of that everyone is not seeing the new change. You can try clearing the data, but there is no guarantee to get the feature even after clearing the data.
If you get the new feature, then head on to the status tab and tap on the ‘floating pencil button’. There you will be able to find three icons, which allow emoji, font or background colour to be added. Just write what you want and fill background colour and hit the send button.
As I mentioned above, the new update is a server-side update so it may take time to reach on your device. And also you need to join the WhatsApp beta to get the feature, if you are not the beta tester of the WhatsApp then head over the link.
