The latest TECNO CAMON 40 series is officially announced at the MWC 2025 event and the smartphone series is available in both 4G and 5G configurations. The CAMON 40 Premier features a triple camera setup with a periscope telephoto camera. The smartphone series includes the TECNO CAMON 40, CAMON 40 Pro, CAMON 40 Pro 5G, and CAMON 40 Premier smartphones. The company has also showcased the MEGABOOK S14 as the world’s lightest 14-inch laptop and more at the event.
The latest TECNO CAMON 40 and CAMON 40 Pro smartphones have 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage while the CAMON 40 Pro 5G is also available in a 12GB + 256GB storage option. The TECNO CAMON 40 Premier is introduced with 12GB + 256GB storage option. The company did not reveal the pricing details of the new smartphone series.
Speaking about the specifications, the latest TECNO CAMON 40, CAMON 40 Pro, and CAMON 40 Pro 5G features a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution. On the other hand, the CAMON 40 Premier comes with a 6.67-inch LTPO FHD+ AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. The CAMON 40 and CAMON 40 Pro have the power of the MediaTek Helio G100 Ultimate mobile processor.
On the other hand, the CAMON 40 Pro 5G and CAMON 40 Premier have the power of the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 and MediaTek Dimensity 8350 chipsets respectively. The smartphone series runs on Android 15 with HiOS 15 out of the box.
Talking about the camera department, the CAMON 40, CAMON 40 Pro, and CAMON 40 Pro 5G feature a 50MP primary camera and an 8MP ultrawide camera. The latest CAMON 40 series also comes with a one-tap button that activates the AI-driven FlashSnap mode. The devices and the first to be integrated with the AI-Powered 360° AI Call Assistant including Call Noise Cancellation, Call Translation, Auto Answer, and Call Summary.
