The newly announced Samsung Galaxy F16 5G features a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a U-shaped notch. It also comes with an FHD+ resolution along with a 90Hz refresh rate, and 800 nits of peak brightness.
It runs on Android 15 with UI 7 out of the box and the company has promised to offer up to six years of Android OS upgrades and six years of security updates. The device comes with the power of the Dimensity 6300 chipset along with up to 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage along with the support for expanding the storage using a microSD card. The device houses a large 5,000mAh battery with 25W fast charging support.
Speaking about the camera department, the latest Samsung Galaxy F16 5G features a 13-megapixel front-facing camera while the back of the phone features a 50-megapixel main camera, a 5-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. The device also supports 11 5G bands and a side-facing fingerprint scanner.
Regarding the pricing and availability, the Samsung Galaxy F16 5G will be available through Flipkart in the country with a starting price of Rs 11,499. The device will be available from March 13.
