The latest beta version of WhatsApp for Android is getting the option to turn off camera before answering video calls. So it is a cool feature as you can be able to disable camera in certain situations before you pick the call.
Currently, you can disable the video call only after accepting the call. It is currently in the beta stage and we believe that WhatsApp will bring this feature in the stable version very soon.
