WhatsApp status feature now makes its way on to the web client

The status feature which was rolled out in WhatsApp early in this year, the feature was limited only on the mobile app for both Android and IOS. And now the developers of the world’s most favourite instant messaging applications, makes available the feature on the WhatsApp web client as well.

Once you logged into the WhatsApp web, you will be see a new ‘circular icon’ which is located at top next to the ‘new message icon’. Just click on it and the rest of things are same as in the app, you will able to see statuses of your all friends and you can able to reply as well with text and emoji. And it also allows you to see your own status too, but sadly status feature on WhatsApp web doesn’t show you the number of people who have seen your status.

The status of your near and dear ones will be displayed at the left hand side of the screen, as soon as you click on it, the photo or video will be displayed in an enlarged form.

Unfortunately, web client of WhatsApp will not allow you to update status. But I hope that the developers of the WhatsApp will allow to update status via WhatsApp web.
