We just came across a report that suggested the Google Pixel 10 series will be official on August 20 and now the prototype image of the Google Pixel 10 Pro smartphone appears online that reveals the important specification details and design changes. So here are the full details of the device.
It is actually a DVT (Design Validation Test) prototype and the same has the internal codename Blazer. The device will be coming with the power of the next-generation Tensor G5 mobile processor along with 16GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. The device will be running on the upcoming Android 16 operating system.
The upcoming Google Tensor G5’s CPU setup includes a combination of two Cortex-A520, three Cortex-A725, two additional Cortex-A725, and a single Cortex-X4 performance core. The processor will also house a g5400i modem.
Going through the live images, we can see several visual changes compared to the Pixel 9 Pro. The USB-C port at the bottom is now available between two identical cutouts that might be a pair of speakers. The SIM tray is now placed at the top-left edge of the device.
While the back of the phone has a camera bar that looks thicker and the same might be due to the internal component upgrades. The cover glass now extends closer to the edges.
