The popular Chinese smartphone brand Vivo will be launching its next generation folding device dubbed the vivo X Fold 5 on June 25 in China and it will be official in the markets of India next month. Before the launch of the device, it is unboxed and we get a detailed look at the upcoming device. It is interesting that the device is thinner than its own USB-C port.
It is reported to measure just 4.3mm when unfolded and 9.33mm when folded — slightly thicker than the Oppo Find N5 folded profile. The device is officially confirmed to come with a large 6,000mAh battery along with 90W wired and 30W wireless charging. It is also reported to be lighter than its predecessor.
The upcoming Vivo X Fold 5 has the power of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 mobile processor along with 16GB of RAM, based on Geekbench. The device is also teased a new “Atomic Workbench” multitasking feature and the device will come with an 8.03-inch 2K+ AMOLED inner display and a 6.53-inch LTPO cover screen.
