boAt has officially launched the latest boAt Wave Fortune smartwatch in the markets of India and the device columns with the title of the first Smartwatch of the company to feature NFC Tap & Pay support. The device comes with a price tag of Rs. 3,299 but there is a special launch offer and that brings the price down to Rs. 2,599. You can purchase the device on the official website of the brand.

The latest boAt Wave Fortune comes with a 1.96-inch HD touchscreen with 240 x 282 pixels resolution and a peak brightness of 550 nits. The device supports raise-to-wake functionality and it also comes with a DIY Watch Face Studio that allows users to customize the home screen with personal images or artwork.
It comes with the support for Bluetooth calling and the device also features a dial pad, contact storage, and quick access to the Crest Pay interface. The device features up to 7 days of usage on a full charge and the device supports Bluetooth 5.3 and is rated IP68 for water and dust resistance.
The device also supports over 700 activity modes and tracks key health metrics such as heart rate and sleep. It also comes with inactivity alerts and allows control over music, weather, games, camera, and alarms. The device supports quick message replies and features a Do Not Disturb mode to help maintain focus.
It comes with a contactless payment feature called boAt Pay, in collaboration with Axis Bank. The device features Tappy’s tokenization technology that will enable you to link your Axis Bank Visa or Mastercard credit and debit cards through the Crest Pay app.
You can make payments up to Rs. 5,000 without a PIN at any NFC-enabled POS terminal using the watch. The company has also added reward system called boAt Coins, and your fitness milestones will be converted into redeemable coins.
