It is officially confirmed that the upcoming Oppo Reno 14 series will come with a “Sponge Armor” internal structure and this will help distribute impact force more evenly. The smartphone series also comes with an aerospace-grade aluminium alloy frame and it is claimed that the frame of the device is over 200 percent stronger than plastic.
The upcoming Oppo Reno 14 series also features IP certifications for durability—IP66 for splash resistance, IP68 for water immersion, and IP69 for high-pressure water jets. The smartphone series also comes with a corrosion-resistant platinum-coated USB port, and an underwater camera mode.
It is also confirmed that the Oppo Reno 14 measures just 7.42mm and it will be available in Pearl White and Forest Green colour options while the Oppo Reno 14 Pro is slightly thicker at 7.58mm and the device will be available in Pearl White and Titanium Grey colour options.
The upcoming Oppo Reno 14 Pro will feature a 6.83-inch OLED screen with 1.5K resolution while the vanilla edition will come with a 6.59-inch display. The smartphone series features ultra-thin bezels, HDR10+ certification, Netflix and Prime Video HD playback, 3840Hz PWM dimming, and an adaptive 120Hz refresh rate. The Oppo Reno 14 Pro is confirmed to come with the power of the latest Dimensity 8450 mobile processor.
