Samsung has already confirmed to launch its first ever XR headset—codenamed Project Moohan. Today we got a new piece of Information and it almost reveals the launch date of the product. So let’s get into the article to check out the new piece of information.
According to NewsWorks, the upcoming Samsung device will be official during the Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event and the same is scheduled on September 29, 2025. The device is expected to go on sale in South Korea around October 13 and the global availability will happen by late October or early November.
The company is expected to set a pricing between ₩2.5 million and ₩4 million. The upcoming Samsung Project Moohan will be running on Google’s Android XR platform and the device is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon XR2+ Gen 2.
It is believed to come with 16GB RAM and dual Sony micro-OLED displays at 90Hz refresh rate. The device will also support multi-camera tracking, likely around 12 cameras, and the same will be using an external battery pack.
