According to the reliable tipster Digital Chat Station, the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor will come with two prime cores clocked at 4.61GHz, alongside six performance cores running at 3.63GHz. It is also reported that the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 will come with an Adreno 840 GPU and the same will be running at 1.2GHz.
It is also reported that the South Korean electronics giant Samsung is preparing a higher-binned 4.74GHz version of the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for the next generation Samsung Galaxy S26 series.
