Lenovo is gearing up to showcase the Lenovo Legion Go 2 at the upcoming IFA 2025 in Berlin from September 5 to September 9. Today the device appears online and thanks to the reliable Evan Blass for sharing the device on his X handle.
The source has revealed that the upcoming Lenovo Legion Go 2 will be coming with an 8.8-inch Lenovo PureSight OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and the device will support variable refresh rate.
It will be supporting the detachable Legion Truestrike controllers and the same is redesigned for comfort and flexibility. It also comes with six programmable buttons, with two placed on the edge of the right controller and two sets across the rear of both controllers. It will be coming with a fingerprint scanner and the same will be integrated on the power button.
The upcoming Lenovo Legion Go 2 also supports different play modes, including tablet mode, console mode with a separate charging connector, and FPS mode for shooter-style play. The device has the power of the AMD Ryzen Z2 Extreme processor and the same has an 8-core 16-thread APU that has 3x Zen 5 processors and 5x Zen 5c processors. The GPU features 16 graphics cores onboard, based on AMD’s RDNA 3.5 architecture, and it is capable of boosting up to 2900 MHz.
Lenovo is said to launch the upcoming Lenovo Legion Go 2 has a new excimer coating and it will make the device more durable, resistant to fingerprints, and easier to clean. The device will come with Legion Coldfront technology that will keep the device cool. It is also reported that the company will be offering accessories, including a Legion Go dock and a Legion Go sling bag.
