It is confirmed that the upcoming Xiaomi 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max will come with a functional secondary screen and the same will be available on the back. This screen is expected to support notifications, time display, multitasking, AI interactions among others. It is worth mentioning that the company introduced a secondary display for the first time in the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra.
The devices will also feature Leica branding on the back and the camera module will house three lenses, with two large sensors placed vertically within the module and a smaller third lens alongside the flash.
It is expected that the upcoming Xiaomi 17 Pro will feature a 6.3-inch AMOLED panel with 1.5K resolution, 1-120Hz adaptive refresh rate, and a 6,300mAh battery along with 100W wired and 50W wireless charging. While the Xiaomi 17 Pro Max is expected to feature a 6.8-inch 2K display with a 94 percent screen-to-body ratio and a 7,500mAh battery.
The smartphone series will also include the standard Xiaomi 17, and all the models of the smartphone series will come with the power of the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor.
