The Chinese electronics giant Xiaomi introduced the much-anticipated Xiaomi 17 Ultra in China on Christmas. The device comes with an incredible camera set up alone with heavy specifications and more. Today we got a new piece of information that confirms the arrival of the device in India and other markets including Thailand and Singapore.
It is discovered that the Xiaomi 17 Ultra is listed on the Indian certification platform BIS with the model number 2512BPNDAI. The listing does not offer any information about the device but it confirms that the launch is around the corner.
The Ultra and Vanilla models with model numbers 2512BPNDAG and 25113PN0EG, respectively, have also been certified by the NBTC authority and this confirms that the devices will be launched in the markets of Thailand.
Moreover, the Xiaomi 17 Ultra and its Leica Edition has also been approved in Singapore’s IMDA authority and it is worth mentioning that the vanilla variant was approved the standard Xiaomi 17 back in October.
So let’s wait for the launch of the devices in multiple markets. It is worth mentioning that the global models of both Xiaomi 17 and Xiaomi 17 Ultra will feature smaller batteries than their Chinese counterparts.
The Chinese variant of the Xiaomi 17 packs a 5,400mAh battery but the global version may come with a 5,240mAh battery. Similarly, the Xiaomi 17 Ultra sold in China houses a 6,800mAh battery, whereas its global variant is expected to come with a 6,000mAh battery.
