The Yamaha EC-06 scooter comes with the power of an Interior Permanent Magnet Synchronous System Motor (IPMSM) along with a 4kWh battery and the same can be charged from 0-80% in 8 hours/ 0-100% in 10 hours. The battery comes with a 3-year or 30,000 km warranty and the latest scooter covers a 169km range (IDC) and 79km/h top speed. The scooter also features 26Nm of maximum torque and peak power of 6.7Kw.
Yamaha has introduced the new Yamaha EC-06 scooter with an LED headlight and taillights that offer increased brightness. The vehicle also features three riding modes including Economy, Standard, and Power. The reverse mode is also available in the scooter and it comes with plush as well as long seat that provides ample space and support for both the rider and pillion. The scooter also comes with a spacious footspace and massive 24.5L under-seat storage.
The scooter also features a 1354mm wheelbase, 145mm ground clearance, and 132kg kerb weight. The scooter is compatible with the Y-Connect R app and the scooter comes with an IP67 (Motor & battery)/ IP65 (for other electronics) rating. It also supports a Combined Braking System (CBS), while the telescopic front suspension with hydraulic dampers and rear coil ring suspension are also included and the same will be offering a smooth ride through urban conditions.
It also comes with 200mm front and rear disc brakes. The scooter also features LCD display that provides real-time information on speed, battery status, riding modes, and connectivity features.
