The developers of Instagram app continuously bringing new and innovative features into the application, and today the app has updated with a new feature in the Stories section and the new feature is called Polls.
With the Polls feature, you can ask opinions of your friends or followers; For example, you can set up a Poll and ask opinion to your friends or followers to cast their vote on the options which you are provided. Cool isn’t??? This feature will be handy for those who wants ask opinions for any event or any project.
How to Create Polls
You can create Polls with simple steps, you just need to drag the poll sticker anywhere on your story and then add your desired choices. That’s it, your poll is good to go. Once you created the poll your friends or followers will able to cast their vote and after casting vote they would be able to see which option has got more votes. Moreover, you can able see detailed result of your poll by simple swiping up on a story (the same way of looking the views of your story).
And just like the normal story, the poll and its result will also disappear automatically after the period of 24 hours. Apart from the new Polls, the Instagram has also introduced a new colour picker, which will allow you to pick colour from your photos or videos and it can be used on text and brushes.
The list of new features hasn’t completed, as Instagram has also introduced a new alignment tool which will help its users to position the text or sticker at the centre of the post. But right now the feature is available only on iOS users. I hope that the developers of Instagram will bring the feature for Android users soon.
