Before the official announcement of the upcoming Vivo X300 Ultra, the company has showcased the device at the MWC 2026 event. The company confirmed some very important information related to the camera department and today one of the top most executive of the company has shared some more details about the camera department of the device. According to Han Boxiao, the upcoming Vivo X300 Ultra flagship smartphone will feature a Sony LYTIA-901 sensor along with a 35mm main camera, a focal length which will be perfect for street and documentary photography.
The primary camera of the device will be combining a 200-megapixel sensor with a large 1/1.12-inch sensor size, and the stabilization has also been upgraded from CIPA 5.0 to CIPA 6.5. The camera system also features a 1G + 6P optical configuration along with ALD PRO coating that reportedly reduces reflections by around 30 percent, and it also comes with additional coatings designed to minimise ghosting and improve clarity.
Based on the previous reports, the upcoming Vivo X300 Ultra may include a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-828 ultra-wide camera and a 200-megapixel Samsung HPB periscope telephoto camera. The device is also expected to come with a 5-megapixel multispectral sensor and the phone will also feature a 50-megapixel autofocus selfie camera.
