Redmi has officially introduced the latest Redmi A7 Pro 5G smartphone in India after making it official in other parts of the world. The device features a 120Hz refresh rate along with the power of the Unisoc chipset, and the device runs on Android 16. The latest Redmi A7 Pro 5G has a starting price of Rs. 11,499 for the base variant with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage and the 128GB of storage option is priced at Rs. 12,499.

Redmi is offering the device in Black, Mist Blue, and Sunset Orange colour options. You can purchase the device via Flipkart and the Xiaomi online store from April 15 in the country.
Talking about the specifications, the latest Redmi A7 Pro 5G runs on Android 16 with a layer of HyperOS 3 on top and the device is promised to get four years of Android updates and six years of security patches. Redmi offers the device with a 6.9-inch HD+ LCD screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, 800 nits peak brightness, and TUV Low Blue Light certification.
The device has the power of the Unisoc T8300 mobile processor along with 4GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 128GB of UFS 2.2 onboard storage that can be expandable up to 2TB via a microSD card. The device also comes with AI features including Gemini and Google’s Circle to Search.
Speaking about the camera department, the latest Redmi A7 Pro 5G features a 32-megapixel primary camera with an f/2.0 aperture and an unspecified secondary sensor. The device also features an 8-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calls.
The device also supports 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, USB OTG, and a USB Type-C port among others for connectivity. It has an IP52 rating for dust and splash resistance and the device also features a fingerprint scanner. The new Redmi A7 Pro 5G houses a 6,300mAh battery with 15W wired charging support and reverse wired charging.
