The South Korean electronics giant Samsung has officially launched a new program in India dubbed the Samsung Certified Re-Newed and it will offer premium Samsung devices with the guarantee of a company-backed refurbished device.
Samsung is including the program with refurbished flagship and mid-range Galaxy smartphones at reduced prices without compromising the standards such as reliability, security, performance, value, and user experience. The company is offering Samsung-certified refurbished Galaxy smartphones along with the flagship and mid-range Galaxy device options and the company will be focusing on sustainable product lifecycles and long-term usability.
The company has said that the devices that will be coming under the program will undergo an in-house refurbishment process that includes detailed inspection, functional testing, software validation, factory reset for complete data removal, and latest software updates.
Samsung will be offering the devices with genuine Samsung replacement parts, packages, and the company will also offer a one-year manufacturer’s warranty similar to new Galaxy smartphones. The company has also confirmed that the Certified Re-Newed devices will also come with the regular accessories, including a charging cable, ejector pin, and user manual.
