The Japanese electronics giant Sony has officially announced the PlayStation 5 backward compatibility for over 4000 PS4 games. The company has also announced PS4 Save Data Transfer support as well.
Even though the backward compatibility was announced, there are still some games that will remain exclusive to the new generation, and a badge will be visible next to those games. It is worth mentioning that some games, including Afro Samurai 2 Revenge of Kuma Volume One, Just Deal With It!, Robinson: The Journey, We Sing, Hitman Go: Definitive Edition, and Shadwen, are some of the PS4 games are not support the PlayStation 5 console. The company also says that the list will be increased in the near future.
You guys can upgrade the eligible PS4 game discs to the digital PS5 version using a PlayStation 5 console with a disc drive. You need to sign in to your existing account on the PS5 console, then you need to insert the eligible PS4 game disc, and then head to the game hub for the PS4 game.
