The social media giant Meta has officially announced the rollout of its new subscription plans for different platforms. The company has introduced the Facebook Plus, Instagram Plus and WhatsApp Plus subscription plans globally.
Talking about the Facebook Plus and Instagram Plus plans, both are said to be priced at $3.99/month, while the newly announced WhatsApp Plus is said to be priced at $2.99/month. The subscription packages will offer access to extra features.
It is reported that the Instagram Plus plan will provide access to features including the ability to see how many people have rewatched your story in aggregate, ability to create unlimited audience lists for Stories beyond the Close Friends option, spotlight a story once a week for additional views, preview a story without showing up as a viewer, search story viewer list to see who is watching, and you can also able to post straight to profile and highlight without showing up on your follower’s feeds.
The latest Instagram Plus will be offering the Super Heart animated reactions for stories, custom app icons, customizable fonts for profile bios, and access to additional pins for your profile.
While the Facebook Plus plan will be offering features similar to the Instagram Plus plan. On the other hand, WhatsApp Plus plan comes with features including app themes, custom ringtones, additional pinned chats, list customisation, premium stickers and more.
Apart from the new subscription plans, Meta will also begin testing plans for creators, businesses and Meta AI power users. These plans are said to be available under a new name called Meta One.
