The South Korean electronics brand LG has had a good dominance in the TV industry for the past 30 years and now we have a new piece of information that says the company is planning to shut down its TV business as well.
It is worth mentioning that the company previously ended the business of Smartphones as well. It is reported that the company is in talks with the Chinese brand Hisense to take over the TV business.
The latest report says that LG Electronics visited Beijing in China recently and met with the senior officials from Hisense to coordinate business restructuring including the possibility of selling its TV business unit. There is no official confirmation about the matter at the moment of time but this is really disappointing to know that LG is taking a step back from the TV industry as well.
