The popular music streaming platform Spotify gets a new capability that will enable you to create, save, and share clips from podcast episodes. The new abilities are available on the mobile application.
You can able to find a new clip icon on the podcast playback screen and the same will take them to the new UI. Now you can able to trim a specific portion of the episode, and then simply save it to your device. You can able to share the saved clips from within the Spotify app using the built-in messaging feature with other Spotify users, or over other platforms.
The new Clips feature is rolling out globally to free and premium users only on the mobile app for select podcasts for now, but it is expected that the company will expand the availability to more shows.
