After showcasing the Honor Robot Phone at the MWC 2026 event, the company has now revealed more details about the futuristic product. The company has revealed that the device was planned to launch as a video-first device.
The company has also developed a motorised three-axis gimbal camera system and the same will be resting on the top of the device. The device has a 200-megapixel sensor that can rotate forward or backwards depending on the shooting scenario.
It is also revealed that the company has collaborated with ARRI, a company widely known in the professional filmmaking industry. The collaboration will be offering advanced imaging technologies and the device will be introduced with features including AI subject tracking, intelligent shooting assistance, automated camera movements and AI-powered video editing tools.
The company has said that the device comes with strong durability and it has already delivered drop resistance comparable to its flagship smartphones, and the company says that it has to improve in the area of water resistance.
