It is reported that the next generation OnePlus 16 will be launching earlier than its usual timeline and the device will be launched in the month of September this year.
Based on the previous reports, the upcoming OnePlus 16 smartphone is currently being evaluated with a 185Hz refresh rate of display that features ultra-narrow bezels on all four sides. The device also has a 3x periscope telephoto camera with a 200-megapixel sensor, along with a dedicated AI button as well.
It was previously reported that the company will be introducing the OnePlus 16 with a BOE-supplied 6.78-inch LTPO OLED display along with a custom touch control IC and the device also supports the BT.2020 color gamut.
The device will be coming with the power of the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro mobile processor along with LPDDR6 RAM and the phone will come with a massive battery of around 9,000mAh. It is also expected to come with 100W wired and 50W wireless charging.
It is also expected that the company will be launching the device with the 200-megapixel Samsung HP5 periscope telephoto camera along with a 50-megapixel primary camera and a 50-megapixel ultrawide sensor. The device is expected to come with features like an X-axis bionic vibration motor, symmetrical dual speakers, an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor, and IP68/69-rated dust and water resistance.
