The popular Chinese smartphone brand Vivo has officially shared the first poster of its upcoming folding device dubbed the Vivo X Fold 6 and confirmed to run on AI-optimized OriginOS 6 Fold. So let’s get into the article to check out the details.
Going through the teaser, the upcoming Vivo X Fold 6 is confirmed to run on OriginOS 6 Fold and a significantly upgraded version of Atomic Workbench, a feature first introduced with the previous generation which was the Vivo X Fold 5.
The updated version is said to support an enhanced “one screen, five uses” experience. The company says that the user interface is now capable to offer more usable screen space, improved split-screen layouts and smoother handling of multiple applications running simultaneously.
Vivo has also confirmed to introduce the device with upgraded AI assistant, on-device AI capabilities and interaction methods. The software has been optimized at the system level, including improvements to task scheduling, chip resource management and multitasking performance.
The upcoming Vivo X Fold 6 is expected to be announced by the end of this month in the markets of China. The device is expected to come with the power of the Dimensity 9500 mobile processor along with a large 6,900mAh battery.
It is also believed to come with a 200-megapixel (main) + 50-megapixel (ultra-wide) + 50-megapixel (periscope telephoto) triple camera setup, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
