Moondrop has launched the latest Moondrop Edge 2 in China and it is currently available for pre-order. The device comes with a price tag of 499 yuan. The latest Moondrop Edge 2 is capable to block out 95.5% of ambient noise below 1kHz and the device features AI-powered ENC (environmental noise cancellation) with beamforming microphones along with a built-in NPU chip.
You can able to purchase the device in black and white along with black and gray colour options. The device comes with a 40mm dynamic driver with a composite diaphragm along with a wooden dome paired with a flexible suspension edge.
It also supports LHDC V5 for high-resolution audio streaming and the device is compatible with LDAC. The device comes with up to 50 hours of battery life and the device also supports USB wired audio.
The device also features capacitive wear detection, that means it will automatically pause playback when you take the device off and resume when you put the headphones back.
It also comes with a companion application and the same offers a full DSP (digital signal processing) interface with a professional-grade graphical equalizer. The headphones feature a stainless steel telescopic hinge made with MIM powder metallurgy and CNC engraving.
