The very popular Chinese smartphone maker Nubia has officially confirmed that the company is working on a new device and it will be the world’s first AI agent smartphone. It is also confirmed that the device will be introduced later this month. The device will not be coming with AI features but the device will be bringing a system-level AI agent capable of handling complex tasks on behalf of users.
Ni Fei, Senior Vice President of ZTE and President of the company’s Mobile Devices division, has officially announced that the company’s upcoming flagship will be the world’s first AI agent smartphone. The device will be official at the 2026 World Artificial Intelligence Conference (WAIC), and this event will be happening in Shanghai from July 17 to July 20.
