Spotify has introduced a built-in AI chatbot and it will enable you to talk with the music streaming platform both in the Home view and in Now Playing. It is worth mentioning that the new feature is currently available only on mobile.
The platform will also enable you to type your requests or questions and you can also have a back-and-forth conversation with Spotify, just like you can with any other AI chatbot.
It will help you to learn more about the music, revisit your listening history, go deeper on podcasts as well as audiobooks. It will also allow you to save your favourite songs, add them to your queue, follow artists, by simply telling to Spotify. If you are listening to something then you can immediately ask about that particular item.
Spotify is also capable to provide more context, guide you to related artists and stories, and you can also ask about the people along with the stories and ideas behind the podcasts or audiobooks.
This particular feature is currently rolling out in beta in English for Premium users who are over 18 and those who live in the US, Ireland, and Sweden. This feature will be available on iOS and Android platforms.
