OPPO F5 launched with 6 inch FHD+ display and 20 MP Front Camera with AI

Last weekend OPPO announced a great selfie-centric smartphone, called OPPO F5. And now the company has launched the device at an event held in Mumbai.

The device sports uni-body metal construction, along with the smaller bezels at top and bottom of the device. The OPPO F5 comes with 6 inch Full HD+ 2.5D curved glass display with Gorilla Glass 5, and having 2160 x 1080 pixels resolution and an aspect ratio of 18:9. It is powered by Helio P23 octa-core processor and the device is paired with 4/6 GB RAM, along with Mali-G71 MP2 GPU. In terms of storage, the 4 GB RAM variant has 32 GB, and the 6 GB RAM has 64 GB internal storage. The device also has a dedicated slot for microSD card, which will allow to expand the storage upto 256 GB.

The main highlight of the device is; its front camera. The device has 20 megapixel front facing camera which comes with AI (Artificial Intelligence) Recognition technology which will help users to take better selfies with beauty mode irrespective of the age, gender, skin tone and skin type, and also features f/2.0 aperture and a big 1/2.8-inch sensor, Portrait Mode, and the Bokeh Effect. It also has 16 megapixel rear camera with f/1.8 aperture and LED flash.

The device has dual Nano SIM with 4G LTE and VoLTE connectivity, and also supports face unlock for your security. It runs on Android Nougat v7.1 which is based on ColorOS 3.2, and the device is backed on 3,200 mAh battery. Speaking about the colours, Gold and Black with 4 GB RAM variant, Red with 6 GB RAM variant.
