After multiple leaks and rumours, Redmi has officially confirmed the launch date of the upcoming Redmi K100 Pro series for the markets of China. Redmi has officially announced that the upcoming Redmi K100 Pro and Redmi K100 Pro Max will debut on August 11 in China. The company has also revealed the first official look at the upcoming Redmi K100 Pro Max.
The upcoming Redmi K100 Pro series will be coming with the power of the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 mobile processor and the devices are expected to feature 6.59-inch and 6.9-inch display options, both come with a 185Hz refresh rate. The devices will come with flat panels with a Super Pixel solution that promises 1K-level power consumption.
Redmi has also showcased the upcoming Redmi K100 Pro Max smartphone in a new Cabernet Red colour option and the same features a color-matched metal frame, an integrated camera island, and a new floating light ring that can sync with music, calls, notifications, and Xiaomi’s AI assistant.
The Redmi K100 Pro Max is expected to come with a 200-megapixel main camera along with a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera with telemacro support. The device will be coming with a large battery exceeding 9,000mAh with 100W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.
It will be coming with 3D ultrasonic fingerprint scanning, IP-rated water resistance, symmetric stereo speakers, and a Bose-tuned 2.1-channel speaker system.
