Vivo is expected to launch the new Vivo X500 series in China in the month of September this year and it was recently reported that the brand will be launching the vanilla variant and the Pro variant in India before Diwali this year. According to the latest information, the upcoming Vivo X500 Pro will come with the power of the MediaTek Dimensity 9600-series processor. The device is reported to come with a 6.37-inch flat display with a 1.5K+ resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate, built on LTPO technology.
It is also reported that the engineering sample has been in testing with an OLED screen from BOE, and it is also said that the display uses a new-generation light-emitting material.
The device is also expected to feature LIPO packaging with ultra-narrow, equal-width bezels on all four sides. The camera module of the device will be available at the centre position of the back and it will feature a circular layout.
It is expected to come with a 50-megapixel LOFIC main sensor and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera, while a later leak added a 64-megapixel, 85mm periscope telephoto lens.
