Redmi has officially confirmed to launch the new Redmi K100 Pro series in China on August 11. Before the official announcement, the company has shared a new teaser to show the back panel and it will glow in the dark.
The company has confirmed that the upcoming Redmi K100 Pro smartphone will be coming with a unique color option called Glowing Firefly, and it is said that the back panel will glow-in-the-dark.
It is actually coming with a fluorescent green finish that changes its appearance depending on the lighting. The device also has the metal frame and camera island with the same green color. Redmi will be launching the device in a sliver colour edition as well.
The device features a 6.59-inch flat OLED display using the new M11 light-emitting material. The device will also support a 185Hz refresh rate, a 4,800Hz instant touch sampling rate, and a peak brightness of 4,500 nits. It will come with the power of the recently announced Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 V-series chipset alongside an AI gaming display chip. The device will be coming with a 200-megapixel rear camera, an over 8,000mAh battery with 50W wireless charging, a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, IP-rated water resistance, and telephoto macro photography support.
