The Chinese electronics giant Xiaomi has officially unveiled three new in-house chipsets. The new series includes the flagship Xring O3, along with AI-focused Xring O100, and intelligent-driving Xring D100. The latest Xring O3 has said to achieve AnTuTu score of 5.22 million. This particular processor will be powering the upcoming folding phone of the device.
It is built on a 3nm process and the Xring O3 features a 10-core CPU that delivers up to a 60% performance improvement. The processor also comes with 16-core G2-Ultra NX GPU, with graphics performance claimed to be up to 85% higher and power efficiency improved by 64% compared to the previous processor.
The latest Xring O3 is also Xiaomi’s first mobile chip with LPDDR6 memory support that offers bandwidth of up to 113.8GB/s and it also offers 200 TOPS of tensor performance along with 3.13 TFLOPS of vector performance, while NPU performance has increased by 45%. The processor is offering the static latency rate at 82ns. It is also confirmed that the newly announced Xring O3 processor will power the Xiaomi 18 Fold and Pad 9 Pro Max. The devices will be official next month in China.
Xiaomi has also introduced the Xring O100 and it is built on a 6nm process along with a near-memory AI architecture designed to reduce memory bottlenecks. The processor combines vertical chip and memory stacking with millions of high-speed vertical channels that will be offering bandwidth of up to 1.22Tbps. This chipset is expected to power on-device AI across phones, cars, and robots.
The Xring D100 focuses on intelligent driving and it comes with a 20-core CPU along with 16-core NPU. The processor also supports up to 160GB of unified memory and it is capable of running AI models with up to 200 billion parameters locally. The commercial availability is expected by next year which means 2027.
