Qualcomm is gearing up to introduce the 6th generation flagship chipset and this time the company will be launching multiple chipset options. One of them will be the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 and the chipset is listed on Geekbench for the first time. The chipset is powering an unannounced iQOO device and it is being tested with an iQOO 16 prototype carrying the model number V2606A.
Going through the listing on Geekbench 6.7, the mobile processor has achieved 3,434 in the single-core test and 9,334 in the multi-core test. Unfortunately, the numbers are disappointing because they are far below what was expected.
The chipset is built on TSMC’s 2nm N2P process and the upcoming mobile processor has a 2+3+3 core configuration as well. It has two prime cores that are actually clocked at an impressive 5.01GHz.
Moreover, the three performance cores run at 4.03GHz, while the three efficiency cores are clocked at 3.74GHz. The flagship mobile processor has the new Adreno 850 GPU for the graphical task.
