Honor is prepping up to launch the Honor 9 Lite in coming days. The rumors were confirmed when Honor sent an official invite to the media houses on December 21 in China where the company will be unveiling the smartphone.

The odd flip-up glasses are probably some promo gimmick related to the dual cameras.
Honor recently has been in the news since the last month as their latest devices enter into more international markets. Yesterday the phone was spotted on TENNA, and it looks like Honor 9 Lite is the budget option to the more powerful Honor 9.
As per the listing on TENNA which revealed most of the major specs, the Honor 9 Lite sports a 18:9 aspect ratio display which continues the trend set by major smartphone manufacturers. Sporting a 5.65” LCD screen with 1080p+ resolution making it compact than the Honor 7x.
The listing also states that the phone will run Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box which can be deemed as good news. Will be available in two variants 3GB/32GB and the higher variant at 4GB/64GB.
The highlight of the phone is that it will feature four cameras; both the rear and front camera will sport a 13MP + 2MP along with 7.6mm thickness, 2,900mAh battery, and microSD slot. The phone will also feature an audio jack (becoming obsolete nowadays). The phone has Gravity sensor, distance sensor, the light sensor as per the listing.
