The developers of Facebook-owned Instagram has rolled out yet another feature on its platform, now users can able to share live videos through the direct messages.
You can share live videos by tapping on the Direct icon, which appears at the bottom-right corner of the screen while live broadcasting, choose the friends you want to share it with, and tap on Send. Once the live video is shared, your friend will see it in his/her Direct Inbox and from there your friend can see your live video. It’s worth to mention that your friends will only be able to see your live video which you shared through direct messages if you are currently live. And if your live broadcast has ended, then they won’t be able to view it.
And don’t worry about your privacy, as you can disable the option to send live videos via direct messages from the Story Settings. The new feature is available on the version 26 for both Android as well as iOS. So, keep your eyes on the update page to get the latest feature on your device.
