In 2017 Nokia has launched a lot of smartphones in different series. Those are Nokia 2, 3, 5, 6, 7, and 8. All these series depends upon different price categories i.e. entry-level, budget, mid-range, high-end mid-range, and flagship. Now in 2018, it’s for the successors of respective smartphones. And same as last year, Nokia might launch there mid-range phone 1st this year i.e. Nokia 6 (2018). This successor is spotted on Chinese regulatory website i.e. TENAA. This leak also shows up some specs of the phone as well as images. So let’s have a look at them.
1st let’s talk about the leaked specs. This Nokia 6 (2018) will come with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 630 processor along with Adreno 508 GPU. It will sport a 5.5” Full HD TFT panel, so no 18:9 ratio & no IPS or AMOLED display. It will have 4GB of RAM and 32/64 GB of internal storage along with expandable storage up to 128GB. But it will remain on same camera setup i.e. 16 MP Rear & 8 MP Front, and also this phone will run on last generation Android 7.1.1 Nougat out of the box.
Now let’s talk about the leaked images of this phone. Firstly the phone has same 16:9 ratio design, not the modern 18:9 ratio design. The front looks like a typical smartphone that comes with no capacitive buttons (so it’s on-screen button this time) along with a front camera, earpiece, and Nokia branding on top of the front. At the back, there’s the same camera setup as predecessor (no dual camera this time as well). A major change at the back is a fingerprint sensor, unlike its predecessor the Nokia 6 (2018) will have a fingerprint sensor on the back instead of the front.
So that’s all the information we have as of now. As this phone is now spotted on TENAA, the China launch is not so far. We will see more leaks of this phone in the coming weeks. So stay tuned to us for more information.
