From past five months, we are hearing about a new app from the world’s most favourite instant applications WhatsApp and the new app is called as WhatsApp Business app. With the Business app, the Facebook-owned WhatsApp targeting small as well as the medium businesses. And today the company has officially announced the WhatsApp Business app, but right now it is available only for Android platform.
The new app is designed for growing and medium type businesses to stay connected with their customers, and in this ways, they can provide the most efficient service to their customers. Through the app, the businesses can able to provide information such as address, working hours, and link to their official website or social media accounts. And the customers can able to access the information by opening up the profile (just like we do to see on normal WhatsApp app).
Moreover, the Business app has three types of account like verified, confirmed and business account, and each of them has a different type of colour badges. This is really handy because customers can know that how authorized is the account. The app also supports the WhatsApp Web, and if you are unaware then you can use the new Business app on the same phone along with the normal WhatsApp app.
The new Business app coming with the features such as quick replies and it allows you to save and reuse frequently send messages, in this way the businesses can able to save their time. The app also comes with auto-responder and the feature is called ‘Away Messages’ which can be sent automatically to your customers during the time of your absence, and the app also has Messaging Statistics feature which will show you the total number of messages.
Speaking about the availability of the app, it is currently available only on Android and there is no word about the iOS platform. Also, the app is available only in few selected countries right now and they are Mexico, Indonesia, Italy, UK, and the US, WhatsApp said that they will roll out the app worldwide in coming weeks.
