Back in last year, we updated that the search engine giant Google started to test dark mode feature on the YouTube desktop and mobile platform. Then the developers of the world’s most video sharing platform rolled out the dark mode feature for the desktop version of the website. Well, now the developers of the YouTube finally rolls out the dark mode feature for Android and IOS app.
Thanks to the folks at The Verge, as they updated the information and it says that to access the new dark mode feature on the YouTube app. A user needs to tap on the account icon, which is located at the top right and then select ‘Settings’ and there you can select ‘Dark Theme’, the app will automatically switch to a dark interface without restarting the app.
Well, this is really a great addition by the Google into the YouTube app because the dark mode does not only provide a good viewing interface but it also helps you to better focus and it also saves the battery. Speaking about the availability of the feature, the update is started to roll out to the iOS user and it will arrive to the Android users very soon.
