It was expected that the Chinese smartphone brand OPPO will launch the R15 and R15 Dream Mirror Edition smartphones by the end of this month. But the companies did not want to keep their fans awaited, as the company has launched the OPPO R15 at an event in China. Moreover, the company has launched the device even before the OPPO F7 which is scheduled to launch in this week.
The device sports uni-body metal construction, with the iPhone X like notch at the front side. The OPPO R15 features a 6.28 inch Full HD+ Super-V display with 19:9 aspect ratio, and having 2280 x 1080 pixels resolution. It is powered by 2.0Ghz Helio P60 octa-core processor and the device is paired with 6 GB RAM, along with Mali-G72 MP3 GPU. In terms of storage, the device has 128 GB internal storage and it has slot for microSD card, which will allow to expand the storage upto 256 GB.
Moving to the camera department, the device has dual camera setup at the back with the combination of 16 megapixel (f/1.7) + 5 megapixel (f/2.2) cameras with AI Portrait Mode, Pro Mode, 3D Portrait Lighting and LED Flash. This indicates that the users of the device can able to capture images in a professional way. The device also has a 20 megapixel front facing camera with f/2.0 aperture and AI Smart Beauty.
In terms of connectivity, the device has dual Hybrid SIM with 4G connectivity, and it also has GPS, Bluetooth 4.2, Wi-Fi, 3.5 mm headphone jack, micro USB, USB OTG. The device supports fingerprint scanner for your security. It runs on Android Oreo v8.1 which is based on ColorOS 5.0, and the device is backed on 3450 mAh with VOOC Flash Charge. Speaking about the colours, the device will be available in Snow White, Hot Red, and Star Purple.
