New OnePlus 6 Teaser Released. Hint Towards Glass Back!!!

As we are going near to the launch of OnePlus’s upcoming flagship killer, more and more leaks are popping up. Almost every day we are seeing something new as well as interesting about the device. In the recent weeks, OnePlus is also officially posting teasers on their social networking handles, which are confirming some of the specs of this device. Now today OnePlus posted a new teaser which gives us a slight hint towards the placements in the device. So let’s have a look into it.

OnePlus has posted an image which shows us the regular OnePlus 5T from the back side, and the upcoming OnePlus 6 present below the 5T. The image is too dark to recognize anything, but as far as we can see, we can have an idea about the thickness of the device. The upcoming device is very similar to 5T in terms of thickness, mostly it will be around 7.3 mm, or maybe 7.2 mm. Another thing which you can notice is that the material is varying on the sides of OnePlus 6. Half of the material is looking like a typical aluminum, but the other half is looking a bit different. That’s hinting towards a glass back, 1st time for OnePlus. There are good chances that OnePlus 6 might have a glass back because an earlier leaked image also shows the phone with a glass back.

Now let’s talk about another point of this image i.e. placements. If you look at the placements of OnePlus 5T, there is Alert Slider on the top and volume rocker below. It’s the same place as previous OnePlus devices. But if you look towards the OnePlus 6, you will notice that volume rocker is present at the same location, but not the slider. Yes, the Alert Slider is missing here. Instead of Alert Slider, the SIM slot is present there. But it doesn’t mean that OnePlus will skip the slider. That’s because recently OnePlus teased a new Alert Slider feature for their upcoming device. Maybe it will get placed on the right side of the phone, at the place of SIM slot.

So that’s all the information we have as of now. Speaking about the glass back, it would be interesting to see whether they will provide fast charging support or not.
